PocketRuler.app operates primarily as a client-side web utility. All numerical figures, financial targets, tax estimations, expenses, and proposal email drafts generated using our calculators are processed locally within your web browser. We do not transmit, collect, or store your private calculations, client rates, or business figures on our backend servers.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads to users based on their prior visits to PocketRuler.app and other websites across the internet.

• DoubleClick DART Cookie: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partner ad networks to serve ads to our users based on their browsing history across the web.

PocketRuler.app follows a standard procedure of using log files provided by our web hosting infrastructure (GitHub Pages). These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
